The “friarielli” represent an excellent product of our company, and more generally, of the Neapolitan cuisine. As you know, these inflorescences of the turnip greens take on different names: in Naples and Campania “friarielli”, in Rome “broccoli”, in Tuscany “rapini” and in Puglia, in fact, “turnip greens”. In short, whatever the term used, the truth is one: we are all fond of it. The “friarielli”, born as “poor food” of our country, have been widely rediscovered in the culinary field: we are used to accompanying them with pork sausage, but today the “friarielli”, to keep up with the times, marry perfectly even with gourmet pizzas, where their intense taste is certainly dominant.
Often, however, you do not have the time necessary to prepare and taste them: so, we thought of packaging them ready for use. Enjoy our “broccoli friarielli au naturel”, prepared and preserved in oil with care and wisdom, to let you savor the unmistakable taste of this vegetable, to which we have added a pinch of chilli pepper. To best appreciate this product, we recommend heating them for a maximum of two minutes, seasoning them with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and … enjoy your meal!
